Audi A6L electric version is coming: with a range of up to 750 kilometers, to be launched in 2025
On October 28, Audi officially announced that the ninth-generation C-class sedan that will be introduced to the Chinese market will retain the classic name “A6L”. As a new pure electric model, the Audi A6 e-tron is available in two body styles: Sportback sedan and Avant station wagon, directly competing with the Mercedes-Benz EQE and BMW i5. The A6 e-tron will be available in three powertrains. The entry-level model is rear-wheel drive with an output of 367 horsepower; the A6 e-tron quattro is equipped with dual motors and all-wheel drive, with an output of 428 horsepower; and the performance-oriented S6 e -tron can produce a combined output of 503 horsepower, which can be increased to 551 horsepower when ejection is activated.
Both the A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron are equipped with a 100 kWh chassis-mounted battery pack, support 270 kW DC fast charging, and have a cruising range of 720-750 kilometers and 640-670 kilometers respectively (WLTP standard). The domestically produced A6L e-tron long wheelbase model will be launched in the Chinese market and is expected to go on sale in 2025.
